The difference between IP64,IP65, IP66, IP67 and IP68?

The IP65 rating is made up of two numbers, the first of which indicates the level of protection against dust and foreign objects; The second number indicates the degree of containment against moisture and water intrusion. The higher the number, the higher the protection level, and the protection level indicated by the two numbers is shown in Table 1 and Table 2.
1st digit:
IP1X: Indicates that a spherical object with a diameter of 50mm cannot enter the inside of the product
IP2X: A spherical object with a diameter of 12.5 mm cannot enter the product through the void of the product
IP3X: Indicates that objects with a diameter of 2.5 mm cannot enter the inside of the product.
IP4X: Represents a metal wire with a diameter of 1 mm that cannot penetrate the void of the product and affect dangerous parts
IP5X: Place it in the dust box, open the lid to check that there is no dust inside the product, if there is a small amount of it will not affect the performance of the product, it can also determine the load standard requirements.
IP6X: The product needs to be placed under negative pressure, placed in a dust box, opened and inspected, it is dust-tight, and no dust can enter to determine that it meets the standard requirements.

The second digit: water resistance test
IPX1: stands for vertical dripping, vertical dripping has no effect, water flow rate is 1mm/min, test 10min.
IPX2: 15 degree dripping, when each vertical surface of the shell is inclined within 15 degrees, the vertical dripping should have no harmful effect, the water flow rate is 3mm/min, and each inclined position is 2.5min.
IPX3: Spraying test, each vertical plane is drenched in rain within 60 degrees, no harmful effect, water flow rate is 10L/min
IPX4: splashing water, splashing water in all directions of the shell has no effect, each vertical plane is drenched in rain within 180 degrees, the water flow rate is 10L/min, and the test time is 10min.
IPX5: water spray, no effect on water spraying in all directions of the shell, water flow rate 12.5L/min, test time 3min.
IPX6: Spray water violently, spray water in all directions of the shell without harmful effects, water flow rate 100L/min, test time 3min
IPX7: Short-term immersion, immersion in the water at the specified pressure, the water immersion of the shell will not reach the harmful level after the specified time, placed in a diving tank, the general depth is 1 meter, and the test time is 30min
IPX8: Continuous immersion, the depth and time of immersion are negotiated between the manufacturer and the user.

Our mini industrial PCs and touch panel PCs are IP65 rated, with a level of protection against fixed particles, which can prevent the entry of fixed particles with a diameter greater than 1mm, and a level 5 protection against liquids, which can prevent the intrusion of jet water.
